Taking this poignant situation into consideration, Basundhara started placing children in the Indian families in the year 1986 and subsequently in the foreign families in the year 1992. It is our foremost duty and responsibility to see that not a single eligible child suffers from loss of parents or want of family. With this note we appeal to the prospective adoptive couples of our country and out side, to come forward for parenting the children still waiting for their loving homes.
